Intercollegiate Science Fest-2024




Under the able guidance of Principal, Dr Aftab Anwar Shaikh and Vice Principal, Dr. Iqbal N. Shaikh, Faculty of Science In association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune has organized an Intercollegiate Science Fest on 4th March 2024. Around 150 students participated in Poster, Working Model and Photography Competitions from Poona College, MIT WPU, ST. Mira's College for Girls, Wadia College, Pratibha College and Abeda Inamdar college. Dr. Altafhusain B. Nadaf, Head, Department of Botany Savitribai Phule Pune University was the chief guest for the inaugural function. The Entire Program was coordinated by Dr. Shoeb Ahmad

Poona College Won Gold and Silver in Zooplanet

Maaz and Muberra Made Poona College Proud Maaz Shaikh, S.Y.B.Sc. and Muberra Shaikh, M.Sc-I Zoology brought 2 gold and 3 silver medals from 'Zooplanet' Intercollegiate Competition, Organized by Nowrosejee Wadia College, Pune. Maaz won gold medals in Quiz and Seminar and silver medal in Photography. While Muberra got Silver medals in Poster and Seminar Competition. One the Success of Maaz and Muberra Principal Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Vice Principals - Mr. Moinuddin Khan and Mr. Iqbal Shaikh congratulated them for their achievements and also appreciated the efforts of Department of Zoology for grooming the tallent of students.
